Hammer Restoration recently increased their mobile drying capabilities by purchasing a new ARID-Dry Trailer. The ARID-Dry Trailer is a mobile mounted dehumidifier and the most efficient drying unit technology. When building materials come in contact with water due to piping failures, flooding or storms, losses can be contained by quickly drying out the structure. Desiccant dehumidifiers are used to quickly provide a low- dewpoint air stream to facilitate restoration of the structure.

The ARID-Dry trailers provide complete climate control for any sized structure which is experiencing excess moisture or water damage. Such occurrences can occur during initial construction or simply from a catastrophe. Whatever the water source, it can be corrected with using the Arid Dry approach.

The drying can occur either with or without high heat. If heat is needed, it is added with a flick of a switch, turning the trailer into the most efficient temporary furnace system available today. Most of the work is done with propane rather than electric trailers which are more expensive to operate. The use of drying trailers eliminates the need for smaller less efficient refrigerant dehumidifiers which can leak and which take up valuable work space. ARID-Dry trailers are perhaps the most effective method available of controlling humidity and/or removing moisture from structural materials, hardwood flooring, and providing structural preparation prior to applying coatings.
