Our team of experts includes IICRC-certified smoke damage cleaning and electronics cleaning professionals, IICRC-certified water damage restoration leads, licensed builders, and project managers with extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction and restoration. As the Hammer Restoration team grows, we carefully select new personnel using strict hiring guidelines.
Amy has worked in restoration since 1986. Amy has her residential builders license and she has taken advanced courses in specialty drying, cleaning and mold remediation. Amy is a strong advocate of continuing education for all Hammer department managers and technicians.

Roger has worked in the restoration industry since 2001. He works with agency partners and the community to ensure we are meeting clients’ needs and to support Hammer’s continued growth.

Steve has worked in Restoration since 1987. In addition to his residential builders license, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in Building Construction Management. Steve has taken advanced courses in fire restoration, cleaning and water remediation. He has also served as a volunteer firefighter in Saginaw Township from 1993-2003.
As the president of Hammer Restoration Inc., Steve is committed to providing his workforce with the latest technology available and ongoing training to ensure that Hammer customers receive the best service possible.

Branch Manager - Saginaw
Paije has worked in the restoration industry since 1999. She has worked in the office, also as a Project Manager, later moving into the Hiring Manager position. Paije was promoted in 2009 to Branch Manager for the Saginaw location. She holds several certifications through IICRC, including the Master Fire & Smoke Restorer designation, as well as her residential builder’s license.

Branch Manager - Mount Pleasant
Joe joined Hammer Restoration in 2008 as Branch Manager for the Mt Pleasant location. He moved to the area in the mid-1980’s and has been a resident of the area since. He has been in the construction and lumber industry since the early 1990’s. Joe holds a residential builders license from the state of Michigan and IICRC certifications in Fire and Smoke Restoration, Odor Control, Water Damage Restoration, Applied Structural Drying and Applied Microbial Remediation. Most recently Joe has also become a Certified Restorer (CR) and Water Loss Specialist (WLS) and Certified Healthcare Technician and Certified Healthcare Supervisor through the Construction Infection Control Training Institute.

Project Manager - Mount Pleasant
Ross has worked in the construction industry for over 16 years and has been working for Hammer Restoration in our Mt. Pleasant office as a Project Manager since 2010. He holds several certifications including IICRC WRT, CCT and Lead safety for renovation, repair, and painting.
Project Manager - Saginaw
Sean joined the Hammer Restoration Project Manager Team in 2014. Sean has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.
Sean is a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser, and also has a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in Biology and Environmental Science.
Before joining Hammer Restoration he served and protected our communities as a Police Officer for more than 10 years.
Sean manages all types of building and restoration projects for Hammer Restoration. Sean is the Manager of our Crime & Trauma Scene Clean Up department. Sean conducts ongoing training for his team and provides on site leadership & supervision.

Heather has been with Hammer Restoration since 2008, she is currently the Office Manager of the Mt. Pleasant branch. Her exceptional customer service and communication skills make her a valued asset to the Hammer Restoration Team.

Matt Bartell brought over 20 years of experience in construction and project management to Hammer Restoration. Matt has been a Project Manager at our Mt. Pleasant Michigan location since March 2014.
Matt’s extensive experience in residential construction and remolding makes him a great asset to the Hammer Restoration Team.

Tom is currently serving our Country as a member of the National Guard. He has received numerous awards over my 18 years in the military and 4 combat tours.
Tom is a Graduated in 1997 from the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree. In 2016 Tom also completed an extensive course “Executive Certified Home Modification Provider Program” from the University of Southern California.
Matt has a business degree from The University of Michigan and brings over 30 years of sales and marketing experience to the Hammer Restoration team. He has a diverse background dealing with industrial and automotive accounts to schools and healthcare clients. Matt recently earned two new certifications: Certified Healthcare Technician and Certified Healthcare Supervisor through the Construction Infection Control Training Institute. Matt covers the entire lower peninsula of Michigan and takes care of Hammer Restoration’s commercial customers which includes hospitals, schools, universities, multi-family housing, office buildings, and more. “We have over 50 years of experience taking care of our customers and can handle any size commercial loss in Michigan, but what truly sets us apart at Hammer is our people. From our President to our Project Managers to our Technicians we all strive for one goal, to get the job done professionally, ethically, and make sure the customer is satisfied.”
